What Comes Around. . .


. . .goes around the family, especially flu.  I’m healthy now, but Greta is home sick with the same bug I had last week.  So all posting goodness remains on hold until she’s healthy.

And if you’ve never spent a day with a sick child, trust me — it takes all your time.

So I’ll make this an open thread — what’s going on in the world anyway?  I’ve not had the stomach (literally) to stay caught up with things.

    Hey I hope you both feel better soon. Sick child (no matter how wonderful) + flu = zero sleep and no brain cells that fire on time. In my experience, anyway. We’re hanging with you til you get back!

    What you’ve missed is that apparently acting Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert called GWB 10 minutes before last week’s UN Security Council cease fire resolution vote, and convinced him to instruct Condi to abstain in the voting, even though she had helped forge the resolution. Then he insulted GWB, Condi, and Americans who have supported Israel for years by bragging about it in a speech, saying he had “shamed” her.

    Would really be interested in your take on that.
