Not only did Dubya not commemorate Human Rights Day, he instead gave out the Presidential Citizens Medal, which many consider second only to the Presidential Medal of Freedom.  I don’t know whether that’s true or not, but I’m sure that those honored today are fine Republicans citizens worthy of the honor.

Except one, that is.

Charles “Chuck” Colson.  You know the guy — convicted felon, Watergate criminal, radical right-wing Christian.  Nice guy, really, unless, of course you happen to be gay.

Next thing you know, Dubya will be giving out medals to war criminals like George Tenet.

Oh.  Wait.  Um. Yeah.

Never mind.

Heckuva job, Dubya, heckuva job.
