Okay, I know this was a joke, but sheesh:

Sarah Palin brought along one of her favorite working-class heroes to a campaign rally in northern Virginia on Monday: Tito Munoz, or as he’s better known to Palin and her audiences, “Tito the builder.”  Munoz, wearing a yellow hard hat with a McCain-Palin bumper sticker, introduced Palin at the outdoor rally in Loudoun County, a populous Washington exurb that broke for George W. Bush in 2004 but has gone Democratic in three consecutive statewide elections. . . .

When Palin took the stage, she cracked to Munoz that “not since the Jackson Five has the name Tito been used so often.”

Josip Broz Tito

Oh Sarah, you’re such a kidder.  Apparently you’re not aware of this guy, who is probably the most famous Tito ever.

I know he wasn’t a pop culture icon and all, but he did is rule a country for thirty-five years.  Of course, it isn’t one she can’t see from her house — maybe because a decade of civil war caused it to disappear from the world map.

Good thing she’s qualified to be President.
