Richard M. Nixon: “I am not a crook.”
Bill Clinton: “I did not have sex with that woman.”
John Kerry: “I am not George Bush.”
John McCain: “I am not George Bush.”
McCain seems to have forgotten that using a negation to describe yourself doesn’t have a great track record in American politics.
