Virginia: Don’t Relax

This is a message for all my homeboys and homegirls representing in the Commonwealth of Virginia:

Obama is up by a large margin according to the most recent polls (Survey USA: 53-43; Suffolk 51-39).

Don’t you freaking dare relax. McCain is going to go freakishly negative over the next week.  We’re talking racial code, the Muslim card, maybe even Jeremiah Wright.  Palin’s already there.

So I expect to see all of you out phone-banking and canvassing this week, over the weekend, next week, and so on right through election day.

The same applies to the rest of you in battleground states.  Not in a battleground (ahem, Maryland and DC)?  Go to the closest one.  The campaign needs as many people as it can get out there, especially on Nov. 1-4.  Never done it before?  Neither had I before this year, and now I’m managing a phone bank.
