Any thoughts on what the attack results say about the efforts to beef up security at US embassies worldwide? On the one hand, every US embassy has now been turned into a fortress. Therefore, this attack resulted in nothing like the previous attacks in Nairobi and Dar (meaning only one American dead this time). 

But on the other hand, it means that by pushing the perimeter out, we are putting nationals in much greater danger... as proven by the number of Yemenis dead in this attack.

Have we gone to far in the fortress creation? What is the right balance?</description>
