Dillweeds of the Day: People Praying for Misery

I wish this was parody.

I love how host Stuart Shepherd says that if it rains, it will be a sign of God’s displeasure, but if it doesn’t, then it means that God had better things to do.  Don’t let the hobgoblin of consistency interfere with your vision, Stuart!

According to Marbury, this guy is from Focus on the Family.  I don’t have either the time or the inclination to talk about how disconnected from reality these guys are.  But I will ask this:  what happens to all the family members who get sick from such a rain?  Oh wait, I forgot:  they’re heathens, so they don’t count.

What Stuart doesn’t mention is that there definitely will be a plague of toads at the Republican Convention.  You might know them better as neoconservatives.

Congratulations, Mr. Shepherd (and those who listen to him):  You’re our Dillweeds of the Day.

Hat tip:  Marbury
