So Much for Tim Kaine
The Evan Bayh bandwagon just gained greater momentum. If Virginia Governor Tim Kaine were to be the VP pick, I doubt that Obama would have chosen fellow Virginian Mark Warner to give the keynote. It wouldn’t make much sense to give two of the most coveted slots in the convention to folks from the same state. So chances are that it’s Bayh, Sebelius, Biden, or the surging (at least on inTrade) Wesley Clark.
UPDATE: Marc Ambinder is reporting that the Obama folks mounted a last-minute campaign to convince Warner to accept the vice presidency.
