Dillweed of the Day, Controlympics Edition

The hits keep on coming, folks.  Here’s what the U.S. Olympic Committee had to say about China’s denial of a visa to Joey Cheek.

Jim Scherr, U.S. Olympic Committee chief executive, said it was “unfortunate” that Cheek would not be welcome in China but said it was “between [China's] government and Joey as a private citizen.”

Here’s a prediction for you:  Jim Scherr and other USOC members will be honored guests at the Coca-Cola party.  And other big shindigs.  Like the one in Hell.

I bet these guys were furious when the hippies and socialists on the actual U.S. team chose a Sudanese refugee and outspoken critic of China to be their flag-bearer.

I guess USOC stands for Unscrupulous Slimeball Opportunistic Capitalists.  What a craven bunch of jerky bits.

Congratulations, USOC:  You’re our Dillweeds of the Day.
