He has spent time with many Chinese people and is also backed 100% by Bob Fu, the president of ChinaAid.org. Watch the press conference. Ealier this year, Bob Fu received the John Leland freedom award and met with President Bush. He's THE biggest voice to come out of China on human rights and he supports Eddie. So to question his character, I believe is misplaced. Sure, question the act but more important is the message being said. He has spent the last 7 years of his life searching, meeting with pastors and churches and people all over the world all of which have his support. Say what you will but this was done with much planning, prayer, support, and ultimately was done for everyone but himself. It was a crime with little monetary damage which will be paid back in full. Oh that we could all just see the point and know that people thousands of miles form here are being silenced, abused, and murdered all with the intent to control, and dominate people who merely want basic freedoms.
